Milestone update

Terrible twos, I wish I never had to experience it. Although Logan is just barely 22 months his terrible twos are heading my way. He has now mastered climbing out of his crib, which I also wish I never had to experience. Nap time has became a joke to him. So that week of great progress has seem to have gone out the door. He pretty much screams, jumps and throws everything while he is suppose to be napping. But I insist on keeping him up in the room for at least an hour. Like now, as I'm writing this he is yelling for daddy (who is sleeping in the room at this moment because he has work tonight), jumping up and down in his crib and before I left the room he had thrown everything out of his crib. I wonder how we are ever going to accomplish nap time when we convert his crib to a toddler bed. I always have high hopes that he will fall asleep if I just ignore him and leave him up there for over an hour.

He is still a screaming king! Some days or half the day he is great, no screaming or very little then other days its a screaming match with him. We are now trying time outs in the corner seeing how he knows how to climb out of his crib. Other than that I just don't know what to do. I know everyone says its a stage but this is one stage that I want to just pass.

On an other note his 8pm bed time is going great. He lays right down, Justin or I read him a story and he goes to sleep. I only wish he'd do the same at nap time. If he doesn't nap by 6pm him and I are both at the end of our ropes. He just is so fussy and uncooperative.

Masons cough has seem to lighten up some. His eye is still gooey. I massage it daily. Again he seems bigger than yesterday. But very much expected. He is still in newborn clothes and when I do put 0-3 month clothes on him he just swims in them. He is starting to finally fill in to his newborn clothes. This coming week he will be one month! ONE MONTH!

Justin's 23rd birthday is this week also. I bought him a present last week and gave it to him already. He has to work on his birthday so we will be doing something to celebrate next weekend. I'm going to make him his favorite cake but as cup cakes =]

I, myself have been pretty good. I'm preparing myself to go back to work in a couple weeks. I'm excited but sadden by the thought of it. I cant wait to go back because the extra pay is always nice and it gives me a break a few hours from being the mommy. I'm sadden by it because I hate missing out on watching Logan and Mason grow. But to keep myself sane going to work gives me a break from all the mommy duties of diapers and cleaning. Now the question is how many days do I want to start with when I go back and do I want to do nights. I really prefer days but I think I will do at least one night a week. We will see how it goes when the time comes. It also all depends on what days I can get a sitter for both boys.

Well that's it. There is always tomorrow to write more.
For now =]
