Snow Day Fun!

Nothing better than a snow day! Let me tell you why; pajamas, Disney movies, yummy food!

Plus pig pile on daddy is alway fun!

Im pretty sure we ended up with about 2ft of snow! I honestly can say I could not wait for it to stop so the boys can play in it! Which so happen to be the following day.

So, the next day we went to my moms and had fun in the snow with our friends!

Playing in the snow is one of my favorite past times. However I did not play in the snow this time. I need to invest in some snow clothes after Conner is born.

Logan really enjoyed "building" a snowman, throwing snow balls, and playing with his friends. Mason wasn't a fan of the wind. He didn't last very long. But they both had fun & that is what matter most to me!

Playing in the snow!

We got snow, which meant sledding! Logan is still a little young to understand everything about the snow. He thinks the snow itself is a snowman. Either way Daddy & Logan had fun sledding! Mason & I kind of stayed at the top of the hill in the car (it was beyond cold because the wind). We probably sat in the snow for a couple minuets.

 Heading out to go sledding!
Daddy & Logan getting ready to go down the hill!
"Hi mama!, See you at the bottom!"
 There they go...
 ...and goooooo...
 ...and gooooooo....
 ...and they made it!
 Mason wondering about the snow...
He was a little unsure about it.

Then he decided to roll in it.
 I think someone is cold!
 "Mama my hands cold"
Mason was a little cold too!

I cant wait for it to snow again hopefully with less wind! Logan had so much fun & I really want Mason to be able to play in the snow a little more!

O Hello!

O hello. The last few days around here have been on and off. Nothing major to update on.

I went Christmas shopping with my mom to get the boys some gifts on Tuesday & Wednesday. They both are pretty much done. Well on my moms part they are. Im really excited for them to open their gifts!

Last night was a rough night see how neither of the boys slept from 2am to almost 6am! You can surely say Ive been so exhausted today. And due to the fact that Logan does NOT nap anymore, I had no chance of napping. Plus I had a house of guest for the day!

Right now the boys & I, mainly the boys are watching 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. My sister bought the boys a Grinch & the dog stuffed animals from Kohls so I figured they should watch the movie! This is probably my favorite Christmas movie but then again I love so many Christmas movies. Haha, 'A Christmas Story', defiantly up there on the list too. Cant wait to watch that with the boys too! I remember watching it with my Grandfather Christmas morning when I was younger! Defiantly something I think the boys and I are going to do every year :)

Sorry for rambling. Always happens with me. Im a rambler, a very bad rambler.

Well nothing new, like I said. However this next week is going to be pretty busy.
For now!

Attack of the eggs!

So Im wondering why must a 2 year old get into things he knows he shouldn't?! Yesterday Justin & I woke up to smashed eggs all over his room. Logan must have thought Mason was his target because I found 2 eggs in the crib & 2 eggs thrown against the wall behind the crib. As well as 2 maybe 3 eggs smashed around his room. We still are unsure what happened to 2 of the eggs. We had 9 eggs in the cartoon and only counted 7! Then Logan got into a bunch of the travel size baby shampoo, lotion and destine in the bathroom. He also thought the sink needed cleaning because there was water all over the counter. I heard the water going so I jumped out of bed!

Now this isnt the first encounter with the eggs. Luckily the first time was only 3 eggs. He has also gotten into the salt & pepper, sugar, the baby cereal, baby Gerber stars, candy, all the permanent markers (which he writes on the walls with), and famously the apple smelling Dawn dish soap (TWICE)

I have to say the eggs & dish soap are the worse to clean out of carpet! However the dish soap did smell good. Just it was pleasant that he decided to dump it all over Mason. Poor Mason couldnt open his eyes. And I had to scrub the carpet for a good 40 minuets to get as much as I could out. Plus the first time Logan didnt  understand dish soap hurts your eyes and he got it all over his face. My poor silly boys!

Now you ask how my 2 year old gets into all of this. Simple, he wakes up earlier than me, and much earlier than Justin. He knows how to be quiet and sneaky. My theory with him, if he's to quiet he is either sleeping or cause trouble! 9 out of 10 times he is causing trouble.

I look back at all the things he gets into and it makes me laugh but in the moment Im frustrated. We do discipline him, nothing seems to work. Sigh, I guess its all in good time.

Just felt like sharing my morning terror story. I wish I got picture but I was to frustrated to even think like that. Needless to say we are investing in a fridge lock today.

Baby powder mess!

Logan decided it would be fun to play with the baby powder, the whole large bottle of it! It was a brand new bottle so you can only imagine how much powder was every where. Of course Mason had no idea what he was doing. He just wanted to play with his brother. Needless to say the boys are no longer aloud in their room with out supervision.

A day at the park.

Who would have guest we would have beautiful weather in the middle of October! Well we did & we took advantage of it by going to the park! Both Logan and Mason had a blast playing!
