Who would have known the zoo was open all year here in New England! Although not all animals are out due to the cold, they do have some. However we went to the zoo at night for the lights and only a few animals were out. Either way it was such a great time!
We saw a Bald Eagle, I wish I was able to get a picture of him. He was beautiful. There was a sleeping Lynx. A river otter, that was very friendly. He was showing off and even looked like he was posing for pictures. Then we saw a few birds, one type that had a silly looking beak. Also a mama and baby sloth that were sleeping. Next some monkeys that had mustaches, even a little baby one. Lastly we saw one of Santa's reindeer! Logan loved the river otter, he kept finding where he was. Then of course he was excited for Santa's reindeer!
There were many beautiful lights & we even saw Santa's Castle! The line to see Santa was a little to long for active Logan, so we passed. But he did get to see him through the window! Logan had a blast! He was so excited he kept running ahead of everyone else! Mason on the other hand was fast asleep the whole time!
It was really a great time. Definitely seeing how we have missed every tree lighting around us due to Justin work schedule and prior plans. This really made-up for it all! I'm so glad Logan had fun and it truly was a great way to start off December!
Some top pictures from the night!
